This is a specific guide based on my specific CPU but it should work for other 4th gen Haswell graphics including:
Install the required kexts
Download the latest release versions and copy the .kext files to /Library/Extensions
sudo chown -v -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions
sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions
sudo chmod -v -R 755 /Library/Extensions
sudo chown -v -R root:wheel /Library/Extensions
sudo touch /Library/Extensions
sudo kextcache -i /
Run the above code in your terminal to install the kexts in your system, or alternatively use whatever kext-installing software you prefer.
Mount your EFI partition
First mount your EFI partition. If you don’t have Clover Configurator you can do it manually like this:
Find your EFI partition. (In my case it’s /dev/disk0s1)
sudo mkdir /Volumes/efi
sudo mount -t msdos /dev/disk0s1 /Volumes/efi
After you mount it, you can open Finder and navigate to your EFI partition. Open the /EFI/CLOVER folder to find your config.plist
Now we need to configure the Clover config to inject the right drivers.
- DSDT > IntelGFX = true
- DSDT > FixIntelGfx = false
- Devices > FakeID > IntelGFX = 0x04128086
- Graphics > Inject > Intel = true
- Graphics > ig-platform-id = 0x0d220003
Just use Command+F to find each value within config.plist and change the values accordingly. For Booleans such as Graphics > Inject > Intel, just change the value to “</true>”. For strings such as Graphics > ig-platform-id, change the value to “<key>0x0d220003</key>”.
This guide should work for any 4th gen Intel integrated graphics. If it doesn’t, here are some resources that may help.
