I was getting tired of Mac OS X, so I partitioned my boot drive and installed Debian alongside Mac. All day I’ve been configuring it to my needs, and I’m very very happy with the way it turned out. I’m so thankful that I can do everything I need to on Linux instead of Windows or Mac.

The 3D printer we’re using printed the shroud undersize, so I made an Excel sheet to calculate the *minimum size that the dimensions have to be in order to fit onto the motor.

Tonight, I’ve been working on re-designing the shroud we’re using for ROV, since the school’s 3D printer has been consistently printing everything under size. Hopefully the methodology behind the new dimensions is sound, and we’ll be able to print a part that fits tomorrow.
