Seattle Internationals 2018!

Last weekend, 45C Robotics went to the MATE ROV International competition in Seattle, representing California.

It was a ton of fun, and it was a great team-building experience as well.

Thank you so much to the CAMS Foundation for sponsoring our trip. Without their help, it wouldn’t have been possible for all of us to go.

ROV 11/12/17

This was one of the quieter meetings, due to the fact that most of us were sleepy.

We made lots of progress though! The buttons are done being wired, and a lot of the visual portions of our software have been updated to look more beautiful (sorry, I guess we didn’t take any pictures of it).

Daniel’s Pre-Birthday LAN Party

In a couple days, our good friend Daniel will turn 16. As a celebration, he had us over for a LAN party.

Funny story – our Uber driver was a gamer back in the late 90’s/early 2000’s, and was surprised by the portability of mine and JM’s computers. He confessed that his was more large and more beige back in the day.

Movie Night!

Per usual, I assisted the C/O 2018 in setting up movie night. Usually I end up catching a cold after every movie, but Sasha and Adrian let me borrow this super cozy blanket as shown below. Thanks you two!

Link Crew!

CAMS has a week-long freshmen orientation in which groups of freshmen are mentored by groups of upperclassmen. I was one of the orange Link Crew leaders, and I must say, our freshmen were probably the funniest (especially Mario, pictured behind me)

5 Cool Tripod Tricks

This week my buddy Joseph invited me to make film tutorials with him! Yesterday he released the first video—that I’m featured in—and it’s about useful ways you could use a tripod (besides just setting down your camera on it). The music in the video is also from my Digital Bliss EP, released last month.
